Training Session on Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) Implementation Held at Board of Revenue, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

A training session regarding the implementation of the Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) System and its operational framework was held today, 06 November 2025 at 12:00 PM, in the Committee Room, Board of Revenue, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.

The session was chaired by Mr. Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah, Member (Settlement, Consolidation & Taxes), Board of Revenue. The following officers also participated:

Mr. Waseem, Deputy Director (Land Records), Board of Revenue

Mr. Atta-ur-Rehman Marwat, Project Director (E-Stamp), Board of Revenue
Mr. Rehman ullah DD DB PMU

Technical presentations were delivered by Mr. Zaman Watoo and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed, Consultants from the World Bank, focusing on field-level assessment, revenue realization mechanisms, and implementation processes under the newly developed AIT System.

The KPITB technical team also provided a briefing on the AIT Web Portal, developed in collaboration with the Board of Revenue, for online assessment, data management, and monitoring.
The session was attended by officers and field staff from the District Administration and Revenue field formations of Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera, ensuring comprehensive understanding and uniform adoption of the AIT System at district and tehsil levels.
