Honorable SMBR Mr. Amer Sultan Tareen visited the Stamp Vendors in District Peshawar
Peshawar, 28 Jan 2026 –
SMBR Mr. Amer Sultan Tareen visited the Stamp Vendors in District Peshawar on the commencement of the pilot phase of the E-Vendor Project. Under this initiative, authorized stamp vendors have started issuing E-Stamp papers on white paper up to Rs. 500 directly through the E-Stamping System, after payment through PSID.
This initiative will significantly reduce long queues at Bank of Khyber branches and provide ease and convenience to citizens, particularly less-literate individuals, by ensuring quicker and more accessible service delivery.
During the visit, SMBR also inspected the E-Registry process at Sub-Registrar Offices and visited SDC-II Peshawar. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of the E-Stamp Team, KPIT Board and Sub Registrars and commended for their efficient and citizen-friendly service delivery.
The E-Registry initiative is planned to be expanded across the entire province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the next phase, subject to readiness and availability of IT equipment.
The visit was accompanied by MBR (Taxes) Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Shah and Project Director E-Stamp, Mr. Atta-ur-Rehman.
